Biographies
Rob Blankenfeld, General Manager
Rob is the General Manager of Thune Insurance and comes to us with a wide range of service
experiences that help shape who he is today. Rob's background includes being a Navy Corpsman
attached to a Marine Corps Scout Sniper Platoon, Middle School Teacher, Director of a City/County/Other
Governmental Agencies Cooperative, and as the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota Large Group Senior
Accounts Manager for Northern Minnesota. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Middle
School Education from the University of North Dakota and is a native of Thief River Falls.
Jeff Skaar, IT Administrator
Jeff is the IT Administrator for Thune Insurance, providing computer software, hardware,
information security, and phone support for the agency. Jeff is a native of NE North Dakota and
has lived in Thief River Falls for the past 14 years. He moved from Grand Forks after obtaining a
Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of North Dakota. Jeff has obtained
A+, Network+, Security+, CCSA, and NSA certifications as well as being a licensed property and casualty agent.
